Caballero v. CORT Business Services Corp. d/b/a CORT, Case No. 15-CV-1896-W-BGS

On August 26, 2015, the employment attorneys at Zeldes Haeggquist & Eck, LLP filed a wage theft complaint against CORT on behalf of a man who was misclassified by CORT as an exempt employee. The former employee alleges CORT misclassified him has exempt in order to deny him various benefits to which he was entitled, including overtime compensation, rest and meal periods, and other wage protections.  He also alleges CORT failed to pay him promised vacation pay and failed to reimburse him for necessary business-expenses he incurred as part of his job.
