Crane v. Trader Joe’s Company, Case No. 37-2015-00000953-CU-WT-CTL

On January 12, 2015, the employment attorneys at Zeldes Haeggquist & Eck, LLP filed an age and gender discrimination and wrongful termination complaint on behalf of two women who were terminated by Trader Joe’s due to their age and gender.  The women, who worked for Trader Joe’s for over ten years and who consistently received favorable performance reviews, allege they were discriminated against and treated differently after a new manager became employed at their store, and immediately after the institution of a corporate “Refresh” policy, which led to their long-term employment being terminated.
