MOORE V. DIAMOND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES, LP, CASE NO. 37-2013-00080961-CU-WT-NC
On December 23, 2013, the employment attorneys at Zeldes Haeggquist & Eck filed a pregnancy discrimination and wrongful termination action on behalf of a woman whose employment was terminated while she was on maternity leave. Plaintiff alleges that Diamond Environmental Services discriminated and wrongfully terminated Plaintiff’s employment because she had a baby and took maternity leave to care for her new baby. Plaintiff also alleges Diamond Environmental misclassified Plaintiff as an exempt employee, denying Plaintiff overtime compensation.
