RUIZ V. ER AMBULANCE, CASE NO. 37-2013-00080743-CU-OE-CTL

On December 3, 2013, the employment attorneys at Zeldes Haeggquist & Eck filed a disability discrimination and wrongful termination action against ER Ambulance. After being injured in a serious car accident and taking medical leave to recuperate, Plaintiff alleges he was wrongfully terminated from his job as an Emergency Medical Technician with ER Ambulance based on his perceived disability. Plaintiff also alleges ER Ambulance subjected Plaintiff to wage and hour violations, including failing to pay Plaintiff overtime compensation and failing to provide meal and rest periods.
